6) READ THIS SHORT TEXT ABOUT MY HOME, THEN WRITE A SIMILAR DESCRIPTION OF YOUR HOUSE OR FLAT:
I live in a small village in the south of Hungary. I like it, because it’s very quiet and very clean. I moved here in 2009. I live in a detached house with my family. The house is big enough for us. We have a living room, a kitchen, 2 bedrooms, a study, a bathroom and a guest bathroom. We have a small garden, but we don’t have a garage. My favourite place is the kitchen. This is where we cook, eat breakfast, lunch and dinner, talk to friends, make a cup of coffee in the morning, spend time together. In this room the walls are white, there isn’t too much furniture: we have modern cupboards, a dining table with four chairs, a cooker, a fridge, a sink and a microwave oven.
Living in this house has some advantages and disadvantages. First, let me talk about the advantages: my home is modern and comfortable, utility bills are low and the neighbourhood is friendly.
However, there are disadvantages, too. There aren’t any shops or cultural facilities in the village.
Overall, I really enjoy living here, we probably won’t move away in the next five years.
